Money Milestone Moments
Financial freedom doesn’t happen overnight. That’s why it’s important to track progress and celebrate every win, no matter how small. The New Year is right around the corner; With resolutions and fresh starts near, how are you going to recognize your small wins along your financial freedom journey? Here are some ideas for celebrating even the smallest of money milestones:
• Journal about it. Keep a scrapbook or something that documents your growth. You can refer to this as part of your financial story.
• Make card. Handwrite a ‘thank you’ card to yourself or your financial accountability buddy, especially if this person helped you stay on top of your goals.
• Plan a party. Even if it’s a night in with a homemade meal, make the ordinary a little extra with a special ingredient or bevvy.
• Reward yourself first. Remember, what makes you feel happy and recognized is what matters when it comes to rewarding yourself first. That means it’s what works for you!
Your progress matters most to you – and recognizing how far you’ve come can be just as impactful as accomplishing the goal at the end of it all. You got this!
